Distribution
Leeuwin Care started in 1999 distributing basic aid materials
donated by the people of Australia.
Today containers are sent by East Timor Sunrise and Rotary Darwin in Darwin and the Edmund Rice Centre at the Notre Dame University in Perth.
Items sent include clothing, kitchenware and utensils and educational materials. They are distributed to families in the thirteen districts of Timor as well as schools, church groups and local NGOs.
Materials are also used by Leeuwin Care to assist in the building and equipping of the Saint Bakhita Centre and the Bakhita Health Centre.
