Youth Currently working on the basketball court
Leeuwin Care has always had a commitment to serving the youth of Timor. Although primarily with the provision of free education, Leeuwin Care also assists the local unemployed youth of the area by providing projects that teach new skills and provide them a forum to work together for the benefit of the community.
The youth have completed a community kitchen and laundry facility and are currently working on the St. Georges Basketball Court, which will be utilized by the children and youth of the area.
The Basketball Court has been supported by St. Georges Cathedral and the
Rotary Club of Perth.
